K&L Gates' Singapore firm, K&L Gates Straits Law, has hired Samuel Kolehmainen from Herbert Smith Freehills. He joins as a partner and a member of their finance practice.
Kolehmainen has been practicing in Singapore since 2011 and has worked at other leading international firms, such as Clifford Chance and Watson Farley and Williams.
According to Kolehmainen's profile on K&L Gates' website, "He has extensive experience in commercial and Export Credit Agency (ECA) financings, advising clients regarding operating leases and aircraft trading."
In Legal Media 360's Sentiment Index, Kolehmainen is positioned as a Band 1 lawyer for Asset Finance and Leasing and in Band 2 for Aviation Finance.
